Ben Askren will fight Jake Paul in a boxing match on April 17th. Jake has picked Ben because he wanted a step up in his boxing game by facing a real fighter, after he knocked out Nate Robinson last year. The other reason why he picked Askren is because altough Ben is an ex MMA fighter, his main skill is wrestling and he does not have an outstanding boxing background. The reason why I put together this compilation is because Askren got a lot of criticism and negativity over the past few month. Things regarding his boxing skills and thanks to the loss to Jorge Masvidal, where he got knocked out after Masvidal landed a vicious flying knee right onto Ben’s head. I personally like Ben, he looks like a cool dude and it seems like everybody forgot what he has done in the past. The guy was welterweight champion in ONE Championship and in Bellator as well. This video shows that he is actually tough and it won’t be an easy match for Jake, as a lot of people (casuals) think. I don’t say that Jake Paul doesn’t have a chance, but it’s not that easy to knock out Ben, especially not with 10oz boxing gloves. So yeah, don’t count this man out yet.
