It is mid March and the water temp has already reached about 70 degrees. My good friend and former Bass Tournament Angler Kevin Van Hughes wanted to try out a new technique for Red Fish. He wanted to see if fresh water tactics would work in the salt. I assured hi that they would and took him to one of my favorite areas about an hour from Charleston. I sat on the back of the boat and played guide, net boy, and camera man as he caught fish after fish. The fishing was just picking up too as an afternoon thunder storm moved us off the water.
