How is your chipping? Chip shots are very important shots golfers play around the green. A great short game can save you a lot of strokes, and knowing the proper fundamentals of chipping is a great place to improve your score.
This video, featuring golf instructor Michael Lamanna, explains and demonstrates the proper method for playing chip shots when you are chipping from good lies around the green. It goes over such things as stance, ball position, weight distribution, forward shaft lean, hand position.
And it also covers options for using different clubs for the chip shot, and explains the air-to-roll ratio for each golf club (how far the ball will stay in the air vs. how far it will roll on the green depending on the club used).
