Robert W. Bloxham has been awarded the Professional Achievement Award for the College of Arts and Letters-Fine Arts and Humanities.

Bob is a 1974 graduate of ISU’s College of Arts and Letters with a degree in Journalism (Advertising and Public Relations emphasis). Bloxham began his career in the newspaper industry at the Idaho State Journal, starting in sales and concluding after 15 years as the Director of Advertising.

During this time, Bloxham developed his interest, understanding and hands-on experience of trade show production. Taking over from the Idaho State Journal, Bloxham and his wife Kate DeLate (ISU ‘72/Political Science) have successfully produced and promoted the Pocatello Spring Fair through their Raven Productions entity for 30 years. The Spring Fair, held annually in Holt Arena on the ISU campus, continues to be southeast Idaho’s premier Home and Garden show bringing thousands of dollars into the Pocatello community while showcasing Idaho State University. Additionally, Bob and Kate owned and operated The Raven’s Nest, a retail outdoor clothing and equipment store in Pocatello for 40 years.

Bloxham has two sons, Lucas (ISU graduate/College of Technology) who is the Program Coordinator for the Welding Department at ISU’s College of Technology, and Skyler (MBA Westminster College) who is the Chief Operating Officer for D.A. Davidson’s Equity Capital Markets group in Seattle, Washington.

Bob and Kate are ardent supporters of ISU, giving annually to the I Love ISU campaign, have named seats in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center, are long-time members of Bengal Athletic Boosters and season ticket holders for both ISU football and basketball. When he is not involved in the production of Spring Fair, Bloxham enjoys traveling and golf.
