I’ve drawn a tough situation here; I’ve got my golf ball in heavy rough on a downslope pitching to a green that’s running away from me.
There are a couple of things you want to do in this situation. First, get in a nice wide stance. Put pressure on your left leg to allow your shoulders to match this slope. Then in your swing, try to hinge this club and swing down the slope. Lastly, keep that weight on your left side and try to swing down the slope.
Set up properly, hinge and swing with the hill, get your golf ball out of these downhill pitches.
