The wrist break method consists of breaking the wrist on your forehand after making contact with the ball. This forehand will enhance your follow through, which is essential for your tennis forehand success. This technique also allows you to swing from low to high; thus, you can brush up to the ball and create easy topspin on your tennis forehand.
The second method is called “pointing the racquet” which is an advanced tennis forehand technique used by Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and many other top tennis players. To perform it, Jeff suggests swing out, up, and around your body. Thus, your wrist will be neutral and your racquet tip will be pointing towards the sky before finishing the swing across your body.
Lastly, Jeff highlights the importance of having the proper grip on your tennis forehand. He recommends using a semi-western grip, where your index finger is spread and your hand is angled.
