Perfect right leg action for your golf swing – Golf Swing Tips – DWG
It is difficult to perfect right leg action for your golf swing and many players struggle because their right heel gets off the floor too early in the downswing, causing early extension or for them to get trapped.
The correct leg action should allow you right foot to roll across towards the target, and your right knee to move in towards the left. If your right knee is moving towards the ball then your right leg action for your golf swing is incorrect.
This simple drill, using just an alignment stick gives you instant kinaesthetic feedback so you know “did I make the correct movement or not?”. The drill works because if your right heal gets up early then your right knee will hit the stick. If your foot rolls and your knee moves as it should, then it will not hit the stick.
