The TWO WXY is the lastest basketball shoe from New Balance.
New Balance athletes Jamal Murray, Dejounte Murry and Darius Bazley have been rocking the TWO WXYs in various color ways throughout this season. Dejounte of course rocked THIS color way right here which is a nod to the old school Spurs FIESTA jerseys.
So you guys know how the game is played today. You see bigs shooting 3s. You see dudes guarding multiple positions. It’s position less basketball. With that in mind, NEW BALANCE wanted to produce a Shoe for versatility. Something that can help players excel at both ends of the floor. The X and O in TWO WXY allude to the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
Let’s talk about the tech a bit. The TWO WXY features NEW BALANCE KINETIC STICH technology on the upper. What this does is give players the right amount of stretch AND support where they need it. NEW BALANCE Fuel Cell technology features the highest round properties of any NEW BALANCE performance foam on the market. Those of you who know NEW BALANCE know that says A LOT.
The TWO WXY dropped on March 15th, 2021 and go for PHP 6,495. They’re available in New Balance stores (Glorietta 4, Alabang Town Center, Bonifacio High Street, and Trinoma Mall. Coming soon to Marquee Mall Pampanga, Ayala Center Cebu) and select stores of The Athlete’s Foot, Planet Sports, and Sports Central (Aura, Makati, Mall of Asia).
