Like most people who live up north, I have a limited golf season. Occasionally we will have a few good days during the winter where we can get out on the course but that’s only after all the snow has melted away. Fingers crossed that after it melts away you can play a round or two before it snows again because Lord knows it will snow again. Well, it had been several months since I had played a round in South Dakota and it felt GREAT to get back out there on my home course. I hadn’t hit the range like I probably should have but I just wanted to play 9 before the sun went down so I had to wing it!

Since I hadn’t played in quite some time I knew it wasn’t going to be a great day out on the course score-wise but I had planned on doing a video on how to play stress-free golf so it wouldn’t really matter too much. Well, that was all good intentions but the round quickly spun out of control and it turned into a round where I realized I needed to teach myself how to play golf again. This video is as real as it gets. I had so many bad shots this day… Honestly, this is the type of round that I would burn the footage and no one would ever see it but I wanted to be real with y’all and show that not every round is great. There should always be a few good shots in there but struggles happen and that’s okay.
