In this 1st goalkeeper training session in our Forza ALU110 Full Size goal, we placed the U11-U12 intermediate size goal inside and didn’t worry too much about the full size goal. It’s going to be a steady process to get my mind, eyes & nobody used to the larger goal. So many young keepers find it a big jump from U12 to U13 size goals, so it’s important to not place too much emphasis on making saves in the big goal straight away. Footwork is going to be important to get me across the increased goal width, so as always, make footwork part of your session.
