I live in Nevada, so sun protection is a must. I have tried two other types of fingerless gloves for sun protection. These are the best by far! I just took an hour and a half walk in 106 degree heat.
These soaked up sweat and were very comfortable. I am 5 foot 7 and have long fingers. The small fit great! The fingers are not too tight or anything. This is great because there is some room for airflow which helps cool your hands down.

I am so glad I found these. I am in my early 30s and just randomly became obsessed with keeping sun off me in my mid 20s. I was wearing sunscreen on my hands, but it would just sweat off.
So, these gloves are perfect for keeping the sun off my hands to prevent age spots (also called liver spots or sun spots). It would be awesome if they came in different colors.
These gloves fit perfectly. I’m loving how lightweight they are yet sturdy. Great protection for my hands and very comfortable. Not bulky at all.

These are as the seller states. They fit well, haven’t shrunk, dry quickly and after a light rinsing retain very little smell of fish (even big old cat fish!
).I wouldn’t necessarily purchase these for warmth, though they do help when the wind picks up.
I was looking for some extra protection from cuts, hooks and falls on steep shorelines.So far, I’m very pleased with my purchase.Hope that y’all find my comments helpful.
I bought these for my son as he needed new gloves for pushing his friend in the Boston Marathon. He picked them out. Rain and 3.28 hours of pushing and they are still in great shape.
Not used fishing, but can say these are great with trekking poles.
Performed very well over miles of hiking in Calif Summer heat (70-90 degree) over varied terrain; 50% strenuous and sketchy mix of granite boulders, hummas, mud, and roots put substantial pressure on the poles and hands.
