A Golf Coach JC How To Guide…. An easy to perform drill everyone should be using in their practice and warm up schedule, has to be one of the all time greatest golf training drills.

One of my longtime favorite drills is simply putting the feet together. I can honestly say the amount of lessons i have given is countless where the client has been watching and listening to too much confusing weight shift information and has lost fact of the matter, the ball is a stationary object. It is extremely difficult to keep tag on how much a person is moving laterally or how much they would like to turn. This requires a significant amount of practice and also great hand and eye co-ordination in other words timing. 95% of golfers play this way unfortunately, but its NOT TOO LATE 🙂

Lets get you moving in the correct direction with an autonomous motion that will repeat again and again because you have been training the right muscles to spiral against one another to deliver the same motion again and again. The same motion that creates further motions like a chain reaction, the best thing is you will feel like are not doing anything.

This is a true swing not a hit at the ball. Eyes closed again 🙂 I’ll keep mentioning it because there is actually no reason we need to look at the ball. When we swing the golf club, the club is moving on an arch around the body. The body is centered pressuring the arch as too is the arch pressuring the body. These natural forces create other natural forces that we need to simply step out of the way to LET HAPPEN.

Thanks for keeping tuned, please post comments get involved, i love helping people improve. Like I said the amount of people who have simply put their feet together and have hit better golf shots is countless saying “they should probably just play that way” 🙂 well i am not saying that but certainly if you are practicing on the course, eliminating bad habits is a good problem to have.

Taking the feelings created when the feet are together and applying them when the feet are wider and more stable to create further leverage is WHERE THE REAL GRAVY IS AT 🙂

LET IT FLY….
