How to Play Golf : Improving Your Golf Game – How to get the perfect golf posture
Take the club and put it down behind your back, just at the bottom of your spine where there’s a curvy bit just above your bottom and stick the club out like a dorsal fin. Hold it in place with your lower hand and hold the handle against your head with the other hand. Now your spine is completely straight.
From there tilt over, keeping your legs straight, to about 40 degrees with the club in place. As you go down you’ll start to feel strain on your calves and that will tell you that you’ve gone far enough. Now you want t little bit of bend in the knees and have your arms rested under your chin, nice and relaxed.
Make sure your weight doesn’t go onto your heels too much, it should rest in the balls of your feet.
From this position you’ve got a nice stable base which will help you rotate correctly.
