One thing a lot of amateurs struggle with is finding the same putting rhythm that the Tour pros are able to produce. Instead of overcompensating on the backstroke for short putts and on the through-stroke for long putts, most pros’ strokes act like a pendulum that goes equidistant back and through.

The best way to learn this is to use a physics term called resonance. By taking practice strokes in continual motion, your body learns the cadence of the stroke, and all you want to do after addressing the ball is try to replicate that motion you had just engrained in your body.
