How would you play this shot?
On most courses the fringe is a little taller than it is here on my home course! And playing this close to it, you could probably just putt the ball and hope to get through with enough speed to get it close, or not too hard and go flying past the hole!
I actually recorded this for a friend of mine, while I played my round and thought I would share it with everyone else. I am no expert but, here I played my 8 iron with the shaft slightly forward and the ball more forward in my stance. Then I just hit just slightly behind the ball and popped it up and over the fringe, on the way to the hole! As you can see here, it went right in! 🙂
