I’ve been wanting to test this out. Does the size and style of grip on your putter have any relationship to the way you put your hands on the putter. Meaning, will a certain size grip perform better with a different hand placement on the grip itself (eg. reverse overlap works better one a skinny grip versus a mid sized grip)?
I do want to say that this will be unique to each individual and their stroke style. Putting is a combination of science and feel. We need to understand the physics of how a ball rolls to optimize our chances of making the putt, but we also need to feel our stroke and what we need to do to roll the ball as best we can on its intended line with the correct speed. Everyone putts different, but we all have the ability to gives ourselves the best chance to make each putt.
Thank you for watching and see you next week!
