A short video on how I made my split throttle system for my Flylight PeaBee. This video is purely to show how I made mine, and the list of parts and tools I used are below.
The end stop copper ferrule can be found here. I could only get 1.5mm as the smallest but with a bit of work they crush down nicely.
The oval copper ferrules can be found here. I used the 1mm and the are really secure, I did a full mock up pull test to failure. It required a full body and boot on the table, plus a hefty heave to make it finally fail.
The hand throttle I used ( I did test quite a few to see which would function well). It did need considerable modification but the end result was really worth it.
The gear cables I used, I needed 3 in total as I replace the wire in hand throttle ( but used the wire to make the Z bend.
The crimping pliers I used. ( We all like an additional tool for the workshop)
