1. Nuuk Golf Club
The club was founded in 2003 and, at the moment of certification, is the most northward placed golf club that has a GEO-certification. The course lies on a relatively untouched area with hills and a spectacular view over the bay. You can often see icebergs from the course. You can certainly say that the way the construction and management of the course was and is carried out, takes you back to the early days of golf in Scotland. There are very few species that survive in the very harsh conditions. Beautiful 9-hole golf course measuring 2,109 metres and 1,790 meters from the yellow and red tees respectively. The course is a Par 33 course, with one Par 5, four Par 4’s and four Par 3’s holes.
