Q. When you hit your ball into a Red penalty area, are you permitted to drop near where it went in the penalty area?

A. Yes, you can drop within two club-lengths of the last place the ball crossed into the Red penalty area, for a one stroke penalty, provided it is outside the penalty area and no nearer the hole.
