It’s unofficially Father’s Day weekend as the annual PNC Championship returns with some firepower in the field. Major champions in the field include Tiger, Bubba Watson, Justin Thomas, Annika Sorenstam and Greg Norman. All eyes however will be on 11-year old Charlie Woods as he puts his game on display in pursuit of his second win in the sunshine state this year.
Meanwhile, frigid temperatures and a Monday finish closed out the 2020 major championship schedule. That didn’t take away from the entertainment factor, A Lim Kim turned in one of the most exciting finishes in recent memory, carding birdies on her final three holes to secure the win.
Despite her triumph, she remains ineligible for this week’s CME Group Tour Championship as does Sophia Popov who won her first major at the Women’s British Open in August.
