After game thoughts:
I’m really happy with how some of the holes went. I ended the round with 2 pars and 3 boogies. My current score /mental is giving myself 1 extra stroke per hole. In the new system, if I hit a par, I’d end up hitting a 90.
I’m trying to eliminate all double par and triple boogies. Looking back at my shots, my wedge game from greenside rough is hurting my score. I have a challenging time measuring distances and overthink how much backswing I should put in. This gets me in trouble with thinning and under/overshooting. I will be working on my distances and control this winter.
