Save par from this troublesome lie..
I’m using a 60 deg. wedge, which is the least user friendly club for this shot, to illustrate how effective this technique and setup actually is.
• Tilt spine back into parallel with the slope like an upside down “T”
• You’re NOT using a club with a lot of bounce such as a sand wedge. Instead use a pitching wedge or even 9
• Soft grip
• Swing speed should be similar to a bump and run.
• Make sure the hands stay in front of the weight of the club head.
• Extend the arms deep into the follow through because contact is made on the upswing.
