For 2013, Honma brought out a range of new forged clubs called the Tour World Series. We’re going to have a look at the 717V.
It’s a cavity back design with a low centre of gravity, and it’s considerably more forgiving than you would expect of a club that looks as good as this with its thin top edge.
The mild steel that the club is forged from offers a really responsive soft contact off the clubface, so whether you’re playing a full shot or a half shot, it gets you lots of control and even with the longer irons it gives the opportunity to land it softly and with more control.
The 717V is aimed at the mid handicapper to the professional, and as such we like to be able to offer a wide variety of shafts to find the best combination to suit your swing.
