Went out and played a somewhat familiar course this weekend, in honor of Jim’s birthday. @stoneycreekgolfclub never disappoints. The course in tough and they keep it in immaculate shape. The greens were difficult to calibrate, but look who’s talking. This course has a secluded feel, yet you look around and realize you are in a neighborhood. Plenty of water hazards to keep you honest. The sand in the bunkers was also fine to hit out of. The practice facilities is top notch with a putter green, chipping green and range.
I did not break 100 😿, however, I did have 5 bogies. I tried out a new/old putter today (trying to decide if I want a mallet or blade next). If you want to play a excellent, exciting and challenging course without exceeding $55, this is a course you should check out.
