Thanksgiving afternoon I decided to practice my sidearm (of forehand) at B Schmitz Park, and I Safari’d it up a little bit by throwing parallel to the tee pad on hole 3. I’m not trying to ring anything up. Just get close to the basket. I let loose with my Innova Manta (in Star plastic) and it found the chains and stayed in the basket. This is the biggest “throw-in” I’ve ever had – on camera, or off.

I realize this is nothing to the pros out there, but for recreational player that can’t throw past 200′ with my forehand, or maybe 300′ with my backhand on my best throw ever. I’m also relatively new to throwing sidearm. I’ve played 2.5 years with backhand but maybe 3 months with forehand/sidearm.

While I was parallel to the edge of the “tee pad” up on the sidewalk, I’m at ground level, because I didn’t want to set my tripod, camera, and bag up on the sidewalk, where cyclists and joggers were. I advanced about 10′ beyond that edge, and UDisc had me at 170′ with a Best accuracy of ±15 feet.

My full video will be out in a week, but this just happened a few hours ago, so I wanted to put this up on YouTube so my subscribers could see it. Thank you for watching and have a great day!
