Club Selection Tips – Golf lesson and golf tips on how to make better decisions regarding the choice of clubs you use prior to hitting the ball onto the green.
► Club Selection Strategy Tips – Video Golf Lesson Summary
You need to know exactly how far you hit each club in order to make better decisions.
Don’t expect to hit your clubs the maximum distance you are able to hit them every time. Instead, plan and use the average range you usually hit your clubs when making club selection decisions.
The front of the green is usually the area most protected on the course. Rather than aim in the front of the green, try aiming towards the center or the back of the green instead. The back part is usually more open and less protected by hazards such as bunkers.
You should aim to hit the average shot in the center of the green, not in the front. That way, your perfect shot should land past the flag, your average shot around the middle of the green, and your bad shot in the green on the front.
