Visuals in the Golf Swing
I try and use visuals to help a golfer make a change anytime I can. Two visuals that I use to help with the shoulders moving, is a Ferris Wheel and a Carousel.
I use a Ferris Wheel when a golfers shoulders are working too flat. The club may be going to inside as well. If you can get the shoulders moving better, a lot of times the club will move better.
If a player’s shoulders are too steep or they are lifting the club too much, I may have them work on flattening their shoulders. I will give them the visual of turning their shoulders more like a carousel.
Give these visuals a try to help your backswing.
