The Lake Hartwell BassMaster Open 2020 didn’t go as planned for me. What went wrong? If I had those answers, I would’ve had better results. This is Part 2 of 2 of my tournament practice. On this day, it was super windy. I had a lot of audio issues, and almost scrapped the whole video. At the end, I’ll give my tournament recap. Even with waves constantly crashing over the bow, I was still able to get a good topwater bite. Most of you have probably already seen Scott Martin @Scott Martin Lake Hartwell videos. If you have, you may have noticed that a bunch of us roomed together. In this video, you’ll see a short clip of what it was like from my point of view. My roommates were Scott Martin, Andrew Upshaw, Bradley Hallman, Todd Castledine, and Billy Messer. Working together, we all seemed to be dialed in going into day one of the tournament. In the end, it didn’t work out for some of us, but Scott Marting & Andrew Upshaw both had top 12 finishes.
This is my last of two Lake Hartwell fishing videos for now. It’s an amazing bass fishing lake. Full of Largemouth, Spotted Bass, Hybrids, and Giant Stripers. I can’t to go back. If you like topwater fishing… And by topwater fishing, I mean you can do it all day long, then Lake Hartwell is the place to be.
