In this golf backswing tip I’m answering the question of whether or not you should lift the forward heel or not as go back. I get asked this question a lot especially by senior golfers so hopefully this clears things up.
Developing a fully coiled backswing is vital if you want to hit the ball long and straight. If you aren’t flexible due to age or a physical limitation then you need to do what’s necessary to get you set at the top of your backswing.
Other people are flexible even as a senior golfers so should you lift the heel too? I talk about that in this golf backswing tip because there are plenty of people I see who have plenty of coil and it might not be necessary for them to lift the heel.
Watch this tip and watch the shots I hit from the back view to see what I do then assess your own shoulder coil to determine if you should lift your heel or not.
