Hole 8, Par 4, 236 Yards
* (Pro Tips are from the Black Tees)*
The shortest Par 4 on the course. This green has the potential to be reached in one shot, but it sits on top of a plateau, making it difficult to carry the distance over or under the tree line, while keeping the ball from rolling off of the back of the green. A good drive down the center of the fairway low will leave you with a short iron or wedge to the green. Anything missed right is almost immediately gone. With a miss left, you can start thinking about bogey or worse like the previous hole. A deep bunker guards the front left side of the green. The putting surface slopes from back to front, and left to right. Eagle, Birdie, and Par are all reachable here. Any score worse will make the drive or walk over to 9 that much longer. Side note: Hole 9 is a similar distance hole to hole 8, but is a Par 3. Use this Par 4 hole as a practice hole to play the long 9th hole.
