This is a variation of the TFL release. Using a golf club and sitting in a chair, find the TFL by feel on the front side of the hip. You can feel this muscle by applying some pressure to this area and picking up your leg. If you feel a muscle moving, that would be the TFL. Apply the golf club towards the outside of the hip with some strong pressure. Perform this for 30 seconds. You can also add in small leg raises too as you do this.
