Residents of a Glasgow street were left in shock as two women brawled on a busy road during lockdown. The scrap between the pair was caught on camera by stunned neighbours who are holed up inside during the coronavirus pandemic. Horrified locals watched on as the women held up traffic and threw punches and kicks as they knocked each other to the ground on Tuesday afternoon. One driver was forced to stop her car as the thugs laid into each other in broad daylight. A resident who witnessed the fight, said: “Everyone in the area knows they’ve had a long running feud going on. “This was a terrible thing to witness while we’re all trapped in our homes. “Two grown women going at each other like that during a pandemic. “Nobody wanted to go near it to stop it so they just kept going. “Some kids were getting upset watching from their gardens and windows. “As parents we have enough problems trying to keep our kids calm during an already frightening, worrying time without them seeing this violence on their doorsteps.” Another resident said: “They were screaming at each other then launched into a fight. “People just came out of their houses and stood watching. “Nobody wants to go near anyone and there’s that two throwing punches and kicks. “Some kids were crying but they don’t care about that. “Terrible to be doing this during lockdown. “Hope the police get involved.” Another local posted online: “Honestly, get a grip n grow up both of you. No right in the head. “We are meant to be in lock down and you two nut jobs are swinging for each other.” Police Scotland could not find any report of the incident recorded on their system.
