Michael Lavery has a very unique approach to hitting a golf ball. He takes the shortest backswing possible and still drives the golf ball great distances. His secret is the weight shift and the tremendous arc he gets with the one hand release. His driver is 48 inches long and the swing weight is G5. The distance he stands off his driver is unusual but the results produce a very predictable draw on demand. The launch angles he achieves has much to do with the height of his tees. They are 4 inches long. Thus he hits the chin of the ball and the backspin rates are very low. This produces very good ball flight dynamics. Read his book Whole Brain Power and learn some of his methods to becoming a great ball striker too.
