Hey #teamoncore with everything going on worldwide we wanted to give you some practical tips on staying safe if you plan on playing golf anytime soon. We want to clarify that we are not the CDC or local authorities so please listen to them first but if you do plan to play golf anytime soon here is a list of our top 9 safety tips to follow on the golf course.
Number 1 Keep with CDC’s Social Distancing rules – mainly stay six feet away from anyone at all times.
Number 2 When signing in to the competition book, use your own pen/pencil.
Number 3 Do not exchange scorecards, tees, balls, ball markers or anything else.
Number 4 Always leave the pin or flag in the hole and do not touch it.
Number 5 No handshakes, no touching at all.
Number 6 All bunkers are closed for play, so if you land in the
bunker move the ball to the nearest point of relief but not nearer the hole.
Number 7 Remove the ball from hole with golf glove on.
Number 8 The cleaning airhoses will not be available for use SO do not use them
Number 9 Please wash your hands before and after round and bring hand sanitizer out on the course to use throughout the round.
