Trail centres, or bike parks, are great places to ride your mountain bike as they have lots of amazing riding condensed into a small area. Here are Neil’s tips for getting the most from them, from picking the right trail to ride to getting involved with community dig days.

Trail centres will often have an area with jumps and berms where you can practise your skills; trails will be clearly marked and graded, but check apps such as Komoot and Trailforks for even more riding; take your litter home and enjoy the facilities such as cafes and MTB hire!
