When I first shared this video on social media it was intriguing to see the feedback. Most coaches who did their due diligence love the ground-based, multi-joint explosive nature of this movement.
A small percentage of people lost their minds saying, “yeah but your posture is not perfect,” or some other permutation about how it “looked dangerous.”
Such is the new polarization of society.
Here’s the thing…
In life and sport, you will never be in a “perfect” biomechanical position for prolonged periods, and nobody can even define what “perfect posture” means for all people regardless of context and anthropometry.
See the bigger picture. We need more coaches embracing dynamic and varied movements in multiple planes of motion, performed with purpose.
