Golf Posture Torso Rotations, stable hips (2-4 sets of 6 each side)
*Start standing in imaginary 5iron golf posture.
*Place a 5iron across your chest.
*Keeping your legs stable, rotate your chest from center to the right.
*If you were set up at a golf ball, the end of the golf club across your chest should point somewhere between either at the golf ball or 4 feet in front of it.
*Repeat for the specified reps. Then do the other side.
The Golf posture chest turns are a great way to keep your spine turning well, while also increasing your ability to turn against your hips. It is also a sneaky way to wake up your hips, and create some stability in your lower body. Do this movement every 3-6 holes on the course. Can you create the same range of motion on each side? Is one side better than the other?
