Cobe Life on the course
Cobe pars Tam O’Shanter hole 11 after poor first putt
In this episode of Cobe Life on the course I take a look at the importance of keeping your cool. It is especially important on or around the Greens. Putts or Chips require precise execution, and for that you need to remain calm. It can be easy to get overly frustrated by a poorly hit shot that leaves you in a less than ideal position to make Par or Bogey. You have to quickly forget about the mistake you made and focus on the current shot. Let any doubt the last shot caused leave your mind, and just concentrate on being fully committed to making the next one.
That day at Tam O’Shanter I made a number of poor shots, but was able to finish with a respectable score by never allowing the bad shots to accumulate. Every bad shot was followed with a critical shot made to keep big numbers off the scorecard.
