This is The Ridges At Sand Creek in Jordan Minnesota. If you dive for golf balls you will most likely also be cleaning out water intakes like this. They often get clogged and it’s a real crisis for the course when they do. Without irrigation greens can burn up in a hurry!
The water in this pond is unusually clear so it was fairly easy to find the intake. Clear water also means plenty of sunlight for weeds to grow as you can see. The irrigation pumps are very powerful and when they kick on the weeds can actually push the screens in on poorly made boxes rendering them useless as a filter.
