I was lucky enough to get invited up to Precision Golf – basically an “Aladdin’s Cave” for golf addicts, full of every kind of shaft, grip and club head you can think of – for a full custom fitting in their studios. The place is absolutely incredible and caters to all needs – not just for fittings; they also offer services to help improve your overall performance.
I have always been a sceptic of fittings, and always advocated that lessons are going to get you further, but having come away from this, I am blown away. I went in with a pretty severe fault in my swing, but within 20 minutes of working with Tom (one of their fitters) that had been corrected and I was hitting longer and straighter than ever before.
