As a follow up to the last video on chipping/pitching where we get the forearm and club shaft in alignment, with the result of better compression on the ball at impact, this week we are working on the one major item holding Cassie back on sticking the ball close with the pitching.
Namely, getting the left hip to turn and bring the arms through together resulting in a fuller turn and follow through finish.
This drill actually is another right arm swing with the left index finger on the hip bone physically pushing the hip round to the left, ensuring the proper turn.
With both hands on the club later Cassie finally feels in control of the pitch swing by the speed of her hip turn. It was a revelation and should leave to more confidence on the course and lower scores.
