Staff of the Australian Turf Club will be as stylish as the racegoers they welcome to racecourses across Sydney with prestigious Australian menswear label M.J. Bale partnering the Club as its official uniform supplier.
The three-year partnership also includes sponsorship of the Group 2 Emancipation Stakes at Royal Randwick and a men’s fashion competition during next autumn’s BMW Sydney Carnival, involvement in the ATC Members Golf Day and Young Members’ event in addition to the supply of uniforms for all race day staff.
The Sydney-based company is also the current clothier of the Australian Cricket Team, NSW Waratahs, Western Force, Melbourne Rebels and Sydney Cricket Ground Trust.
Susie Thompson, Sales & Marketing Director of M.J. Bale, said the company is proud to now be partnering with one of the world’s most prestigious racing clubs.
“We are very excited about the partnership with the ATC. Not only will the staff look smart on and off the track, but we are also looking forward to leveraging both prestigious brands from a marketing perspective and establishing our position in the racing world.”
M.J. Bale is currently developing an array of uniforms for the ATC including checked shirts, tailored suits and a distinguished silk tie. The stylish outfitters will also develop a series of options for the Club’s female staff.
Champion jockey Hugh Bowman who grew up in Central NSW’s Dunedoo, recently modeled an M.J. Bale shirt, suit and tie combination alongside ‘Caramel’ the sheep who is stationed at Wellington, not far from where Bowman was raised.
“I think it’s wonderful that such a prestigious clothing company has come on board with the ATC.” Bowman said.
“M.J. Bale use fine Australian Merino wool for all of their suits and with this partnership, all the ATC staff will look fine and dapper at their race meetings.”
