Forward Tee Challenge: Playing Golf From the Ladies Tees (Part 2)
On a very wet and windy day when most of the course was cart path only. My buddy Armondo and I decide to do the Forward Tee Challenge. We played a round from the ladies tees.
We played Wildcat Golf Club, Highlands Course in Houston, Texas. This course was very wet and covered in loud bugs due to almost non-stop rain for the better part of 6 weeks.
How well can a 5 handicap guy shoot from 5,000 yard tees? Watch both videos to find out. We had a lot of fun shooting this round and it was one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I’ve had in months. This was on a day that normally would have been miserable. This course is not designed to be Golf Cart Path Only. The course was so wet that you can see the divots in the fairway from where our balls landed and in most cases bounced backwards or just became a fried egg. We did observe lift-clean-and-replace for this round.
