PGA Tour Pros Don’t Help Design Golf Bags | #golf #golfbag #pga #caddy

This week on Must Play, Brett Robinson (Global Product Manager at Callaway & OGIO) joined us to chat about the impact PGA Tour players have on designing bags, which turned out to be almost zero. Turns out caddies like Austin Kaiser (Xander Shauffele’s caddie) work directly with Callaway to provide feedback on enhancements and where improvements can be made.

Additionally, unlike the rest of the golf world, improvements and features actually come from consumers and move up to the tour level as opposed to vice-versa, like how technology from clubs and shoes starts at the tour level and gets down to us weekend warriors.

You can watch/listen to Must Play on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts.
