After getting feedback and reviewing my swing, I’ve noticed I’ve had early extension for quite a while. It’s definitely not a problem for most my clubs since i have actually been improving and have gotten into single digit handicap range.

I notice that my longer irons I tend to early extend more, mainly with driver and 5 iron. I’ve also heard that to fix early extension, there might be other issues causing early extension as well. I’ve been drilling without hitting a ball to let my left butt cheek to come back to let my right side come through instead of swaying my hips towards the target and standing up/humping the ball. Is there any suggestions or things you guys notice besides the hip sway or my hips pointing towards the ball at impact?
