  1. This is a genuinely amazing concept but it is hard to imagine the nba would do something like this for whatever reason

  2. Very fun idea. Would love to see it. What would the dunkers do during practice, games, film sessions, team meetings, etc ?

  3. Feel like the dunks would lose their wow if we could see it every half time show. After a year or two, there wouldn’t be much dunks we haven’t seen and we’d be back to where we are now.

  4. It pure genius until they realize they won’t get paid what they are expecting and the t just wouldn’t work after that

  5. It’s actually fire, but rather than the teams having 1 dunker , they draft a dunker every year and have a dunk team. The dunk teams compete in various battles through the year and the best 4 teams pick their best dunker to represent the team in the contest !

  6. Listen this all sounds good on paper, however, just imagine how many times you will see the same dunk? 82 games per team 30 teams so like 15 * 82 is 1230 1v1 dunk contests. Might be exciting in the beginning but will most definitely die out fast!

  7. God damn it. I wanted to hate on it and call u out for just trying to get a free pass to be in the nba…but half time shows suck…and this would make it maybe the coolest part of the whole game…so I fully support the idea. Too bad the nba is ran by old out of touch morons who don’t actually know their fan base.

  8. Isn’t there league minimums, though for pay on top of that every team has a cap of how much they can spend on players this would force them to be paid a ton of money for a one time youth in the game or one per season. Not hating on anybody’s bag or how much they make, but I just can’t see the teams spending like that since they are a business.

  9. I would just say make it your own sport and don't add it to basketball, as someone who loves basketball I would hate if that happened.

    Also, what about highschool ball?
