Trying to take golf more seriously, been searching the internet for a good beginner set but they’re quite expensive. I thought maybe second hand would be a better long term plan. Found these on FB marketplace for an absolute bargain for 200€. I know that the irons are quite player oriented and not so beginner friendly. What are your opinions?

That is an insane deal. Even if you don’t get on with them you could resell them for more and get a set that work better for you
Yep
This is a troll right? I’m a 9hcp still using 09 burners. If this isn’t then yes these will be great for a beginner
No, not for beginners exactly. But it’s a great set overall. You got one hell of a deal on them too
So long as you have TM Customer Service phone number on speed dial for when the carbon face on the driver peels apart and/or cracks.
The driver is the least forgiving driver that’s been made on the last 10 years but other than that great bag
That driver isn’t forgiving. I’d sell/trade it for something that is. The irons…eh blades can make you better by forcing you to learn how to hit them solid so that’s your choice. I’d definitely go a different way with the driver tho.
Great set to start and build on, you’ll be able to work down to a single digit hcp before even thinking about new irons or driver
That’s an insane deal, absolutely pick it up, you could sell and buy a more forgiving driver and 3 wood but even the P790s for that price is a steal!
I’ve never hit muscle backs before… is that really a good option for beginners even for price?
Lol it would even be a good deal if the P790s were fake. Absolute nobrainer. Don‘t meet in a dark parking lot though
I don’t think anyone can tell you what club is right for you. You have to touch and feel them first to see of they feel good. Then you have to hit them. For me, Taylor Made clubs just don’t work. I’ve tried a bunch of them and I just don’t like them and a lot of people love them. If they work for you great, if not try something else.
