We wrap up Graphite Design Week with Darin, taking a full look at driver shaft fitting through Cool Clubs S3 software, Swing Signature analysis, and real player feedback. Testing Graphite Design DI, VF, and FI models, this session highlights how weight, flex, and feel all come together to influence performance, numbers, and confidence off the tee.
If you want to understand how a fitting actually works and why trusting your equipment matters just as much as the data, this is a great one to finish the week. Like the video, subscribe for more real fittings, and drop your swing speed or questions in the comments.

Another great video which really shows the differences a shaft can make to a players game as long as the fitter is competent and takes the time to ensure the best results for the individual. Great series from Cool Clubs showcasing the various Graphite Design models in this series.
"Image is everything" said Andre Agassi. Well the image of Darin (nice swing!) hitting 280 yards with the GD FI 4X raised my eyebrows. I will be trying out that shaft myself, so thanks guys.
I am hitting the alta CB 50 S shaft. my driver is the Ping K g440. overall good. my dispersion is very good. my ball speed is 120 as an ave. Sometimes I can get to 125. swing speed about 85. 195 to 200 yards Carry. 215 total. sometimes 225/230 yards. I am a senior. I do have lower back issues due to stenosis . What upgrade shaft should I try to get more yardage? Thank you
40 X means the weight of the shaft is 40 grams?
I’ve never been fitted for a driver, i got a Cobra Max-K with a Denali Red Regular shaft new for $150 last fall. I have been struggling with my driver until recently and now that my swing has improved my problem is that ill hit what feels like an amazing shot, it starts with a nice trajectory but then balloons up and then just falls out of the sky. With a driver swing speed between 95-100 ( now that ive improved my swing) im curious if my problem is that ive outgrown my regular shaft, if the red profile is not conducive to my better swing or potentially both.
Great video. I realize you are trying to push the new Fi shaft. When he tried the VF and said it smelt way to stiff did you think of trying a stiff shaft instead of an x flex. I am a senior golfer with slower club speed I am interested in the Fi 40 gram because the other 40 gram shafts I had tried have all felt to whippy to be accurate.
Loving these videos. Would love to try some of the shafts from these guys!
Great improvement! Love the new pod and videos
