I still have one that I game time to time. Honestly not a whole lot of distance difference between it and my “modern” driver. The 975d is easier to hit straight though. Love me some smaller club heads

it’s not a mini driver .. ‘the D’ is one of the best drivers ever made pre COR ruling

to the clueless down voters: a mini driver is a club class/category

just because a driver head is smaller than a 460cc doesn’t make it a ‘mini driver’

you can’t be that dumb .. but it’s Reddit, so maybe you can

I still bring mine out every now and then

hahaha i still have this same driver in 7degree…. used it in high school and college. every couple years i’ll take it out to range and hit it. it’s so hilarious…. my present day five wood is noticeably bigger.

I have that one in my attic, just motivated me to get it out and game it.

Being the game back to here! Tour professionals and 975D. Once the ProV was introduced it was all downhill from there

Does it have that maroon Grafalloy shaft in it? LOVED this club in HS/college.

That one was my fav back in the day.

I saw a 13.5 degree 3 wood for sale not long ago and I’m kicking myself for not grabbing it

Absolutely legendary driver. I still regret trading mine in for $20 or whatever when I changed to the 983K.

Still have one in my cupboard, too! I take it out with the rest of my 90s-era high school gear.

I played that same model driver for over 20 years. It worked as well as whatever I have now. I think it was the operator.

Edit: oh, mine is an 8 degree though.
