Uber to launch golf service

Uber, the most popular rideshare app, is trying to solve a problem that groups of golfers always run into, getting the entire group and their clubs into one vehicle. As the 2026 golf season gets ready to kick into full swing, Uber is launching a special rideshare program for golfers with Uber Golf.
Within its app, there will be a tile for Uber Golf, which is also a part of Uber Reserve. With Uber Reserve, golfers will be able to reserve rides to and from the course up to 90 days in advance.
Riders will be able to use UberX, which can accommodate 2 golfers and their clubs or UberXL, which can accomodate 4 golfers and their clubs. The tile is currently up and running on the Uber app.

Uber also announced this week that they will be collaborating with Topgolf to give people safer rides home after a fun night out. Uber One members will be able to receive 20% off of their game play at Topgolf.
Uber One members will be able to redeem their discount within the Uber app by going into their account and selecting the Uber One tile. There will then be a unique code that can be applied towards bay reservations at Topgolf.
The Topgolf discount code is coming soon and an announcement will be made later this spring once an exact date is set for the launch of the Uber Golf x Topgolf discount.
